Milton George Ferrier

Milton George Ferrier was born in Rochester, Michigan, on February 23, 1922, the son of John and Mildred Bommer Ferrier. Milton attended Rochester schools and received his diploma in 1946 after completing his military service. Before the war, he worked at National Twist Drill & Tool Company in Avon Township.

In October 1942, Milton entered the U.S. Army. He qualified as a paratrooper and was assigned to the 464th Parachute Field Artillery Battalion. In February 1944, Milton sustained a serious head injury in a motorcycle accident; he was discharged from military service in October 1944.

After the war, Milton married and started a family. He used his G.I. Bill to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated in 1951. He moved his family to southern California in 1958, where he became known as a masseur to the stars. Among his clients were Rock Hudson, Gene Kelly, Raymond Burr, and others. Milton also served as the private masseur to then-Governor Ronald Reagan, and continued in that role after Reagan became president of the United States.

Milton George Ferrier died at age 96 on June 2, 2018.
