1. The WWII Honor Roll & Monument Fund helps to keep this important site maintained by making repairs that include repainting at times, new landscaping, and general maintenance for years to come. Learn more about the history of the monument.
2. In Honor/In Memory: make a donation in someone’s honor or memory. Names will be added to our Virtual Donor Wall.
3. The Rochester-Avon Historical Society Scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior student at Oakland University who has met the following requirements:
- OU undergraduate upper classman (junior or senior)
- 3.0 minimum GPA required
- Graduated from a Rochester or Rochester Hills high school OR Resided in Rochester or Rochester Hills at the time of graduation
- History Major (preferred) or Minor
- Demonstrated commitment to community service; may submit up to two letters of recommendations.
