This lecture synopsis:
This presentation draws from author and photographer Anne Crans’s evocative book, Pictured Life, which explores the stories and struggles of early 20th century immigrants through words and images. Accompanied by live flute performance, Crans weaves together her artistic photography, poignant narrative, and reflective themes to bring history to life.
