Festival of Trees

As the holiday season approaches, we’re inviting our members, friends, and community to join us for one of the most anticipated events of the year! The Festival of Trees,hosted by Rochester’s Downtown Development Authority (DDA), is November 21-23 at the Rochester Community House. Tickets may be purchased online at downtownrochestermi.com/festival-of-trees.

This will be the sixth year RAHS has participated in this magical event that brings together creativity, generosity,and the holiday spirit with uniquely decorated Christmas trees and a variety of other holiday decorations. Each item is designed and donated by community members, local businesses, and nonprofits, and are auctioned to raise funds for downtown’s annual Big, Bright, Light Show.

The DDA graciously offers all nonprofit entries 100% of the auction profits from their items. This means, when the bidding opens and bids are received for RAHS’s tree, our organization keeps all of the profits from the final bid.

Guests will enjoy festive music, holiday treats, and the joy of friendly bidding, all while supporting a cause that supports our community. Every sparkling ornament and twinkling light represents hope, compassion, and the community coming together to make the season brighter for all.

Our tree this year features “A Rochester Story” and has fun elements inspired by the movie “A Christmas Story.” Be sure to attend the event to get your bid on this special tree you can add to your home or place of business.
