Roy Littlefair
Roy Littlefair was born in Center Line, Michigan, on August 17, 1925, the son of Thomas and Doris Clark Littlefair. The Littlefair family moved to Avon Township when Roy was a child.
In March 1943, Roy entered the U.S. Navy. After training, he was stationed aboard the light cruiser USS Trenton. The Trenton first patrolled the western coast of South America, then in July 1944 took up service in the Aleutians. Roy was released from military service in January 1946.
Roy returned to Rochester, married, started a family, and managed a gasoline service station. He subsequently lived in Ohio, and then moved to Orange, Texas, where he operated a Wienerschnitzel restaurant franchise from 1988 to 1998.
Roy Littlefair died at age 86 on December 10, 2007.
