Howard Kemmer Hulsapple
Howard Kemmer Hulsapple was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on March 6, 1917, the son of Ernest and Elizabeth Kemmer Hulsapple. Howard grew up in Grand Rapids and graduated from Grand Rapids South High School. He and his parents moved to Rochester in September 1940, and Howard was employed at Yellow Truck & Coach in Pontiac.
In June 1941, Howard enlisted in the U.S. Army. He was assigned to the 730th Engineer Depot Company and participated in campaigns in New Guinea and the Philippines.
After the war, Howard married and made his home in the Rochester area. He retired from National Twist Drill & Tool Company in Avon Township.
Howard Kemmer Hulsapple died at age 74 on October 9, 1991.
