Stanley Edwin Behm

Stanley Edwin Behm was born in Rochester, Michigan, on January 15, 1925, the son of Edwin and Silvia Murray Behm.  Stanley’s parents operated Behm’s Dairy in Rochester. Stanley attended Rochester High School and graduated in the class of 1943.

In July 1943, Stanley entered the U.S. Navy. After training at Great Lakes, Illinois, and Norfolk, Virginia, he was stationed at overseas installations in North Africa and Italy. He received a medical discharge from the Navy in August 1945 and returned to Rochester. Following the war, Stanley worked in the family’s ice cream business.

Stanley Edwin Behm died at age 52 on September 16, 1977, and was laid to rest in Fort Pierce, Florida.
