We’re going on a field trip! Join RAHS and the Oakland Township Historical Society for a private guided tour of the Loren Andrus Octagon House. Come explore the house and grounds, learn about the family that built it in 1860, and consider what it might have been like to live in this “house of eights.”

The tour is on Saturday, April 26 at 10 a.m. We’ll meet at the house located at 57500 Van Dyke Avenue, Washington, MI. After the tour, those who are interested are invited to continue on up Van Dyke Avenue to Georgio’s Apple Orchard Inn (62840 Van Dyke Ave, Washington) for lunch.

COST:
The cost to attend the tour is $10 per person. There are three ways to register/pay:

1. Register and pay online by clicking on the "Get Tickets Now" button, which will take you to our secure Square payment site. Tickets purchased online are $12.00 ($10 + $2 service fee) to help RAHS cover banking fees.
2. If you do not wish to pay online, you may register for the tour by sending an email to rahsupdates@gmail.com or leaving a message at 248-266-5440 letting us know how many attendees you are registering and how you will pay for the tickets. You can pay for tickets the following ways:
   • Pay by check before April 18. Make checks payable to Rochester-Avon Historical Society and mail to PO Box 80783, Rochester, MI 48308.
   • Pay with cash only on the day of the tour at the tour location.
