Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm 1005 Van Hoosen Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48306

The Rochester-Avon Historical Society presents, "Dynamite Dames: The Famous and Not-So-Famous Women Who Changed Detroit," with Detroit Historical Society education coordinator Cate Waldecker on Thursday, April 3 at 7 p.m. at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farms, 1005 Van Hoosen Road, Rochester Hills, MI.

Explore Detroit through the eyes of the women who shaped the city, from Madame de Cadillac to the Queen of Soul. This presentation focuses on the lives of twelve trailblazing women who lived and worked in Detroit—some well-known, and others unsung—and their impact on the history of Detroit and the nation.
