| Our site is quite extensive and full of information. Our goal is to tell
you the story of Rochester and the surrounding area while presenting an
entertaining image. Many of the photos on these screens provide links to additional screens and may also take you to other sites. The use of the small society logo always links to additional screens about area artifacts. The menus are always available on the main screens and hopefully provide an instant link to anywhere on the site. Many of the screens contain buttons on the green panel to provide a secondary link to most of the screens in the menus. Near the bottom left of the main screeen we have inserted a scrolling window. The contents of this window will normally have the most recent announcements. The items in the window will scroll out of view to the top, and then repeat after the last topic. You can stop the scrolling by placing your cursor/pointer in the window. Removing you cursor/pointer will resume the scrolling. Finally, the "Time Line" is a Flash presentation. We believe this presentation style is the most efficient method of presenting an extensive amount of information. We hope you find it useful. If you are using a dial-up connection to the internet this presentation may take a long time to load. |
